Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kansas City Airport - Kansas City International Airport

Hotel was old and smelly. I ordered my ride to the hotel and they were late dropping me off and never showed up to get me. I had to call and ask where they were and they had no clue what I was talking about even though o had filled out the card for a ride back from the airport. I waited 45 minutes.

Very dirty. Machine wouldn’t work with my card - refused to try another machine and the social interaction around that was really unprofessional and uncomfortable. A prostitute was operating business on the first floor. The room had others belongings under the bed skirt and table. A handful of big trucks parked around parking lot, then sketchy looking lived in vans (there at first stay and our return.) Did not feel safe in parking lot and was concerned about my car’s safety during the duration of my trip (fortunately was okay.) The shuttle driver dropped us of a cars length from the curb, paid no attention that it was a handicapped senior, 8 month pregnant woman and toddler - took multiple trips and dodging a car to get the car seat, stroller, and suitcases to the curb safely. No shuttle service after 11pm upon return, had to take uber. The SureStay across the street is far better in terms of accommodations, parking and service - mistakenly booked this location and will never again.

Hotel was clean and very basic. Not even a coffee pot in the room. Staff was nice and bed was comfortable. Needed to wake up a staff person to get our shuttle in the morning. He apparently couldn't locate the driver so he drove us, which was very appreciated.

NOT WELL! 1) Failed to give & cont WAKE UP CALL til I was up! Late to airport! 2) Poor Service--Continued to work w/another while I was late to get to airport 3) Not very clean. 4) Spoke in such strong dialect & fast - barely uderstandable! Difficult to communicate!

This facility needs to be updated and need of major repair. This facility has seen better times and would have expected better from a Wyndham

Room was small but clean

We will probably never be back there to stay. The shuttle piece was excellent & convenient. The hotel itself left a lot to be desired. The beds were horrible. The floors were not clean anywhere. It certainly was a very low end hotel, very dated, and not kept up.

Great place and friendly staff. Super convenient to the KC Airport. Everything was flawless.

Was expecting the driver to put bags in the van instead of putting them in myself

Very like a Motel 6. No coffee maker in room or available in the lobby at 5 am. People were very pleasant. However when I called for the pickup he said it would be 10 minutes and it was more like 20-30. It was very cold waiting outside that long.

This was a nice, but very basic hotel. Was perfect for our needs, a place to sleep a few hours before a very early 5:30am flight. No coffee in the room, but fresh made in the lobby. The desk clerk, who was also our shuttle driver, was prompt and courteous.

Hotel was old. Needs new carpet and basic updates. Back door was supposed to be locked and only able to enter with a key but it was broken and unlocked at all times.

The room didn’t have adequate heating and was not cleaned sufficiently. No breakfast at 6:00 as advertised. Pickup from airport was slow and unhelpful with luggage.

Staff mostly courteous and helpful. Shuttle service very good.

Room smelled. Fridge would not open, shower head was pulled out from the wall, chair was stained. Counter tops looked as if someone had taken sandpaper to them.

The room was way out dated. 2 TV's one broken. The toilet seat was totally broken to the point of falling off. Would never use this hotel again.

The room was disappointing and needed some TLC. The beds were bowed down in the middle making them very uncomfortable which was disappointing but it is a lower end hotel that's not really designed for long term comfort. I knew what to expect ahead of time so nothing was really a surprise. We only stayed for a few hours to catch a flight early the next morning so for that purpose, it filled the need. I mainly booked because of the park and fly which was a good value. Parking accommodations were good and there were plenty of spaces. My car was in the same condition as when I left which is what I expected. If I had to stay here and sleep here for more than a few hours, I would choose another location but for park and fly, it works.
